Ways of Learning
Intervention Architecture have worked closely with Grand Union on the design of the exhibition structures for this programme.
Within the gallery space, we have designed and built as our collective, proposed distinct zones for adaptation 1. sight/projection viewing, 2. taste/ a mobile kitchen, 3. touch/ production print making tables.
The zones are used for alternate uses: a dinner, a learning space, a talking space, a working space.
The plywood, dry jointed cnc modular structure can be stacked, formatted as seating, display, in multiple configurations, facilitating spatial experiments within the gallery layout.
Grand Union will be open for anyone to use and share with staff. There will be seating, workspace, WiFi, tea and coffee available throughout the project.
Central Works:
