This completed project encompasses the entire refurbishment and re-modification of a lower ground floor Edwardian flat within a Conservation Area in St.John’s Wood, London. The flat has been reorganised to create more storage, an additional bathroom and dressing area, including the remodelling the internal living and sleeping areas.
The material palette proposed uses a balance of contemporary and reclaimed materials, to create a unique and rich quality to the environment, whilst maintaining a sensitivity to the existing building and structure.
A bespoke 100ft joinery wall was designed to act as a connecting link from the entrance of the flat to the rear garden, in addition to creating essential space for storing and showcasing the personal objects belonging to the client.
