Shortlisted for Arts & Science Fest

We are delighted to share that we have been shortlisted as one of four artists, selected from a University of Birmingham (Research and Cultural Collections) Arts & Science Festival open call commission for a new public sculpture in the green heart campus.

The shortlisted artists are:

– Juneau Projects

– Hipkiss & Graney

– Andrew Gillespie

– Intervention Architecture

The commission invited artist proposals for a new public sculpture bringing together arts and science in the University’s recently expanded campus parkland, the Green Heart. Following an open call for submissions, four finalists will be invited to produce scale models to be exhibited in an outdoor exhibition case. A corresponding indoor exhibition held in the Rotunda Gallery, University of Birmingham, will expand on each of the ideas. The winning proposal will be selected by public vote and a panel of creative experts from the arts sector.
