The rear of the house was extended to create a squaring off from the existing form, with new full height double glazed openings which allow a full width view of the garden from the interior spaces. A new side stair access creates a safer and less obtrusive access point from the interior to exterior space.
Internally, a new bright kitchen with quartz worktop creates a light contemporary space. Forbo marmoleum flooring creates a seamless floor finish which is practical as well as easy to maintain. Encaustic pattern wall tiles used within the kitchen area provide a highlighting colour of warmth to the main cooking and prep areas within the space.
Within the new wc, a sliding pocket door makes an efficient use of space, in addition to a barbican sink which is installed part within a new partition wall.
The snug area allows for an additional living area within the ground floor, creating further flexibility of space within the home.
