A four bedroom home is proposed with ancillary space which includes a double-height living area, open plan kitchen-dining, and an annex workspace/garage.
Great sensitivity is considered to the existing context and undulations of the ground levels, to fully maximise the existing contours and propose an additional level where the ground naturally steps down. This also conceals and shelters additional living space to work with the existing site.
Materials proposed are to be locally sourced granite stone, in addition to welsh slate and tonally complimentary aluminium framed windows.
Development to Planning application stage in 2016.
